Trinute contunues to flow in for the late queen of modern Zulu music, Busi Mhlongo who passed away of Tuesday night. Sis Busi had suffered for a long time and she finally gave in to breast cancer at 62.
Busi had shared stage with many well know artists locally and outside of South Africa. These include Hugh Masekela, Dorothy Masuku, Miriam Makeba, Sibongile Khumal and many more artists. The Congress of South African Trade Unions said Mhlongo had made a unique contribution to the development of South African music and culture, and had paid tribute in her music to workers' struggles.
